A show within a show, this year's production follows the passionate pursuits of show director, Gretchen and the cast of "A Down Home Christmas." The usual stress level revolving around a production is maximized, as closure of the community theater is imminent unless the current Christmas production is a raving success. Of course, obstacles prevail! Various characters provide comedic relief and sentimental structure as the cast and crew share candid life moments, creating an ambience of hope, love, and the spirit of the season.
